We moved into a modern apartment last winter and no matter what furniture we added, the room still felt cold somehow. My husband originally didn’t understand why I wanted a mural, but after installation even he admitted the room suddenly felt much more relaxing.

I always associated murals with very dramatic interiors, so I never imagined using one in our own home. Our interior designer actually discovered Japandi by MAGLbL and convinced us to go with the Nami Leaf mural. Once it was installed, it didn’t feel dramatic at all. The room just felt calmer, warmer, and much more inviting.

Our home office always felt like something was missing, even after we finished decorating it. But after installing a wallpaper from this store, the entire atmosphere shifted. The room suddenly felt much more intentional, refined, and inspiring to spend time in. I honestly didn’t expect wallpaper to change the mood of a space this much.

We were renovating a small Airbnb in Kamakura and wanted the space to feel memorable without looking overly designed or trendy. Kiyo sweep brought such a calm architectural feeling to the entryway and made the entire apartment feel much more intentional.

You could tell from the beginning that this wasn’t just a transaction. Lily asked about our materials, lighting, and even the mood we wanted guests to feel when entering the room. We chose asa motion and very happy with the decision.

I originally thought the design itself was what I loved most, but once it arrived I realised how much the natural wood texture changes the feeling of the piece.

Before installing the wallpaper, the apartment looked nice but generic. Now it actually feels memorable and distinct from other rentals in our area.

I was going get a similar print on canvas from another brand, but I’m honestly so glad I chose the wooden version instead. The depth and warmth are completely different in person.

At first glance the quiet color wallpaper looks too simple, but once installed it completely transforms the feeling of the room. It makes everything else in the space look more elevated somehow.

Lily encouraged us to order samples first and view them in both daylight and evening lighting before deciding. That completely changed our final choice and I’m so grateful she suggested it.

As a small boutique hotel owner, every design decision now has to work both in person and online. This wallpaper manages to do both. It feels calming in reality but still catches attention in photos.

A lot of Japandi-style décor online currently feels very trend-based, but this piece feels much more timeless and grounded in real materials. I can honestly see us keeping it for many years.
